Higher Education Needs Assessments & Evaluations
Idaho’s Dual Credit Funding through Advanced Opportunities: Idaho’s dual credit programs, with a unique state funding model, have seen substantial growth in student usage in recent years. WICHE’s Policy and Research team analyzed six key topics related to the state’s dual credit model in this comprehensive report for the Board of Education.
Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC): In FY 2017, the Washington State Legislature provided funding to the Washington Student Achievement Council to complete a Higher Education Needs Assessment for southeast King County. WICHE partnered with the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems (NCHEMS) to conduct the assessment, provide key findings and recommendations, as well as a cost estimate.
Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC): WICHE conducted focus groups, key informant interviews, and an employer survey as part of a Regional Education Needs Assessment to capture the insights generated from stakeholders across the state of Washington regarding economic trends, employers’ long-term planning trends, student demand, community needs and other factors related to educational needs in the state’s nine educational service districts.
