New Mexico Highlands University is a public comprehensive university serving our local and global communities. Our mission is to provide opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to attain an exceptional education by fostering creativity, critical thinking and research in the liberal arts, sciences, and professions within a diverse community. Highlands University offers degree completion programs at our main campus in Las Vegas, NM, and our surrounding centers throughout the state in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Farmington and Roswell. Highlands offers a 12 to 1 student to faculty ratio with recognized professors, hands-on activity, and real-world experience. Our academic programs are most affordable and offered in a number of learning modalities to include fully online.

To receive the discounted tuition rate, program must be WUE- or WRGP-eligible. You must apply by the school’s deadlines and meet their academic eligibility and residency requirements.

WRGP Admission Requirements

Official transcript form each university attended, statement of educational goals and objectives, letters of recommendation (minimum of 2), test scores (if required), a one-time non-refundable $15 application fee. Other program requirements may apply.
